Tandoori Sweet Potatoes

Today I am sharing one of my favorite recipes, any recipe related to potatoes is my favorite lol. It is really simple to prepare. The main ingredient is sweet potato obviously and else you need some of the spices that is it. So be ready for a delicious recipe and try this out. Tandoori Sweet Potato

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tandoori paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • cooking spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Method

  • Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them in cubes.
  • Preheat your oven to 375 Celsius.
  • Line your small and rimmed baking sheet with foil. Spray it with cooking spray so that potatoes does not stick to it.
  • Add cubed potatoes, tandoori paste, sesame seeds, vegetable oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and red chili flakes to bowl.
  • Stir until the sweet potatoes are well coated with the spices.
  • Pour this mixture on the previously prepared baking sheet and separate in one layer.
  • Bake for about 20 min on bottom  shelf.
  • After 20 min remove it from oven and with spatula turn over and mix the potatoes.
  • Place your baking sheet again in the oven for additional 15-20 min.
  • Keep an eye on them, they may need to be transferred to the top shelf.
  • Potatoes should be crisp and not too dark.
  • Remove your baking sheet from oven when your potatoes are nice golden brown.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt and serve.
  • Voila! your yummy tandoori sweet potatoes are ready.
