Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup carrot
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 small potato
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 4 cans (14 ounce) chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
  • 4 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cups chicken
  • parsley

Method

  • Cook 2 cups of chicken.
  • Slice 1 cup celery.
  • Chop 1 carrot and half onion.
  • Dice 1 small potato.
  • In a large pot melt the butter.
  • Sauté the celery, carrot and onion for 2 minutes.
  • In the pot add diced potatoes, thyme, poultry seasoning, chicken broth and bouillon.
  • Bring it to a boil.
  • Add noodles and chicken in the pot and cook for about 20 min on low heat.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
  • Voila! your delicious noodle soup is ready.
