INGREDIENTS

Beef patties

1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef

1/2 cup (125 ml) breadcrumbs

1/4 cup (60 ml) milk

1 egg, lightly beaten

30 ml (2 tbsp.) Ketchup

30 ml (2 tbsp.) Lime juice

5 ml (1 teaspoon) of paprika

1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic powder

Salt and pepper

Fries

Canola oil (for frying)

2 Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin julienne, on a mandolin

 

Burgers

4 burger buns

 

Ketchup

250 ml (1 cup) sweet banana peppers, marinated (in jar) and sliced

 

PREPARATION

Beef patties

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients well. Salt and pepper. Shape 4 patties. Refrigerate 15 minutes.

Preheat the barbecue on high power. Oil the grid. Preheat the fryer to 190 ° C (375 ° F). Line a baking sheet with paper towels.

Grill the beef patties for about 4 minutes per side or until the meat is cooked through. Toast the breads.

 

Fries

Meanwhile, fry the potatoes for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Salt.

 

Burgers

Spread ketchup on the buns. Top with the meat and garnish with chili peppers and cheese or with any veggie. Close with the bread.
