Hey guys today I'm going to show you how to make American omelet, okay to make an omelet is actually very simple. All you need is a few ingredients. American omelet tastes delicious on weekend when you have time make this yummy omelet and serve your family with this goodness. Today I'm just going to put a little bit of cheese and some herbs I think a three-egg omelet is about the right size.

Ingredients

3 Fresh eggs

a little bit of unsalted butter

salt

pepper

Cheese (whatever you'd like to put inside)

 

Method

1.       Go ahead and crack your eggs In a bowl.

2.       Add a pinch of salt and grind some fresh pepper.

3.       Now start beating your eggs.

4.       When you beat your eggs for an omelet you should really do it until the eggs become one uniform color.

5.       Pan is one of the most essential parts of making an omelet, a nonstick pan with tapered sides. I usually

use for about a medium to medium-high heat.

6.       Start with about 2 teaspoons of butter, move it around the pan including the edges and just wait for it all to melt.

7.       For the American style omelet we have to wait for the butter to brown up just a little and wait until the foam of the butter kind of subside and go away. Once the foam subsides you’ll know all the liquid  or the water is cooked out of butter and you are ready to add your eggs.

8.       Add your eggs in the pan and give it a few seconds for the eggs on the bottom of the pan to start to set before you take a nice nonstick or heat proof rubber spatula and start moving the egg to the center, allow the eggs to fill the spaces.

9.       Now is the time to add your fillings I am just going to add some grated cheese and fresh herbs. (parsley and chives)

10.   Once you feel like your omelet has cooked to the point that you like, bring the handle towards you and then work as you just roll it take the handle grip it underneath and then just transfer your omelette to the plate.

11.   Garnish your omelette with some cheese and fresh herbs.

12.   Voila! Your delicious American style omelette is ready.
